BIG BIG NEWS!!! For the past few weeks I have been carrying around a HUGE secret. Today I can finally shout it out. I am excited to share with you that I will be one of the twenty featured bloggers in the Spring 2018 One Room Challenge. In case you have not heard of this event it is a very big deal. Now in it’s thirteenth season, it was started by Linda of the blog Calling it Home. The One Room Challenge is THE room makeover event. It is a semi-annual event where 20 featured bloggers have six weeks to transform a room from start to finish. Hundreds of other bloggers and designers also “link up” to the event and participate as well.

I am so honored to be among this fabulous and talented group of designers and bloggers.

The One Room Challenge is not new to me. Every season I look forward to following along. I also participated as a link up blogger back in the Fall of 2015 and transformed the family room in our previous home. You can see the reveal HERE. I had always planned to participate again, so when the call came in I was so excited and also a little in disbelief!

I don’t want to give away any secrets because the challenge doesn’t officially start until next Wednesday but I want to give you a little hint about my room. This photo kind of says it all.

Intrigued…right?? I guarantee you will never be able to guess which room I am making over. Hopefully you will all follow along starting next Wednesday, April 4th to see the adventure begin. It was a wild ride back in 2015 and I know it will be even wilder this go around. I’m both excited AND nervous. Being chosen as one of the featured bloggers, I feel like the stakes are raised big time and I don’t want to let “those involved” down.

Please wish me luck!
