Fall 2025 High Point Market Trend Report: What’s In, What’s Evolving, and What You Should Be Watching

Each season at High Point Market brings a fresh wave of inspiration, and Fall 2025 was no exception. While many of the dominant design trends from recent years, such as curved lines, organic forms, and artisan details, are still going strong, what stood out this year was how these ideas are maturing.

Designers and manufacturers are refining the trends I've spotted over the past few markets, giving them more structure, more contrast, and more intention. Below, I’m breaking down the top takeaways from Market that are shaping what’s next in interiors.

1. Menswear-Inspired Interiors & Tailored Drama

This season, there was a clear masculine fashion inspired feel in many showrooms. Think rich textures, warm woods, and clean lines that add a tailored, pulled-together look to a space without feeling stiff or too serious.

Spotted at Market:

  • Upholstery in espresso, tweed, saddle leather, and wool
  • Furniture in walnut, hickory, and ebonized oak
  • Burnished brass and aged bronze accents
  • Structured silhouettes that feel modern but timeless

Cognac colored leather sofa. brass and dark stone coffee table, wool drapes, and menswear inspired plaid wallpaper create a masculine vibe in this space.

Burnished brass and glass bookcases.

Tailored lines, rich caramel leather, and warm brass accents give this space a refined, menswear-inspired look that feels polished yet comfortable.

With its burl wood grain, brass trim, and sleek tailored design, this vignette channels the rich, polished vibe of a custom suit.

The ebonized wood top paired with a bold, sculptural stone base creates a striking mix of strength, polish, and natural drama.

Tailored upholstery, deep neutral palette, and bold patterned wallpaper. This space channels a strong menswear influence that feels modern, moody, and refined.

2. Curves & Sculptural Softness

Curves aren’t going anywhere, but they’re evolving. Instead of just softening spaces, this season’s curves are being used as dramatic focal points and sculptural statements.

Spotted at Market:

  • Oversized scalloped edges on headboards and case goods
  • Undulating forms on accent chairs, consoles, and lighting

  • Demi-lune and kidney-shaped profiles throughout upholstery and tables

This curvy lined chair functions as both seating and sculpture.

This free form mirror frame captures the soft, organic shapes at the heart of the curves trend.

This sofa is a standout example of the ongoing curves trend with it's playful pebble-like shape and soft edges.

Kidney-shaped stone tabletops add an organic, sculptural touch that beautifully reflects the curves trend.

This curved, sculptural table leg reminded me of a coat blowing open revealing the gold dress underneath.

 3. Material Storytelling: Refined finishes & Organic Craft

Refined, tactile, and deeply personal, this season's materials are doing the talking. It’s not just about natural materials anymore; it’s about how they’re being finished and combined.

Spotted at Market:

  •  Natural stone on tables
  • Glazed ceramics in earthy, hand-thrown styles

  • Woven raffia, cane, and heavily textured bouclé and velvet

  • Dark stone, soapstone, petrified wood, bronze, and burnished metals

Hand-shaped metal, and a richly patterned stone tabletop come together in a way that feels fresh, perfectly capturing the season’s focus on refined, artisan craftsmanship.

Woven cane and warm wood tones bring natural texture and handcrafted charm to this simple yet striking sconce.

This whimsical display of hand-formed ceramic figures celebrates the imperfect beauty and soulful charm of organic craft.

In a world full of mass production and ai fakes, these handcrafted materials stand out. They lend depth and character to a room and clients are craving that uniqueness.

4. Brown Is Back!

If there was a single color family dominating Market this fall, it was brown. Rich, earthy, and surprisingly versatile, brown is having a major comeback. Brown paired with olive greens and brown paired with blue were the two most common color palettes I saw at Market.

  •  Chocolate, espresso, cognac, camel, and chestnut tones
  • Warm brown leather, velvet, and chenille on sofas and chairs

  • Stained wood in deep, natural hues—no paint in sight

  • Layered palettes of rust, tobacco, and taupe paired with greens and blues

After years of gray and black dominating, brown feels like a return to warmth and comfort. It’s classic, grounding, and easy to layer—whether you lean modern, traditional, or somewhere in between.

 5. Detailing & Decorative Trims

Ornamentation is making a big impact. This season, designers are leaning into thoughtful, tactile details that add polish and personality.

Spotted at Market:

  • Nailhead trims, contrast piping, and tailored flange edges
  • Pleated skirts, ruched fabrics, and carved table legs

  • Fringes and tassels with a modern twist

Both chairs and sofa were spotted with skirts. Some ruffled some pleated, and many with floral fabric. I'm curious if this 50's inspired look will take hold going forward.

I hope you enjoyed my pictorial trend round up of High Point Market, Fall 2025. More than anything, this season’s trends are about creating spaces that feel personal, collected, and lived in. It’s all about finding the right balance of comfort, style, and intention.
